Three Rivers around Pittsburgh
« on: January 25, 2015, 06:18:14 PM »
Last time I was down there, about a week ago, I went in at the 28th St ramp, had to break my way in, water temp was in the low 40s.  I caught a few walleyes on jigs in the deep pools, and found a few small (12") smallmouth bass hovering near sunken barges.  They inhaled small Senkos.

Be very careful launching and watch for shore ice and floating icebergs  :)....take a bag of cat litter for the ramp and dress warm.

Also, look under "Boat Safety" for my tip concerning a safety line.

Glad you caught some fish @Treeman12

Frozen solid here for the last few weeks or so.

I edited your post to include a link to your post in the boating safety forum  ;)
