Old Bantam Mag 10sxg prob

I have a couple old Bantam Mags. My 10sxg will not lock the spoon. You know, the spool will always spin freely in reverse. So setting the hook is a bit tricky! I have 2 and as far as I can see, the parts are the same and all there. I looked at the good one just to see if anything was different on the bad one. I really like the old buggars and am hoping to repair it. i got the good one for good grades!!  I am now 48 and do not remember many good grades. Pops must have been hankering to buy me a nice reel at the time!!!

Could be a few things that are wrong with those old shimano's. Parts could be "iffy" at best.
I think I may have one or two of them in my old parts reel barrel. I would be more than happy to look at them for you and let you know what they need.
