Baits I've Made

(1/3) > >>

Curt:
I've been making my own spinnerbaits, buzzbaits & jigs since the 1990s. I call them Hawgstomper Baits.

Last winter I started making my own bladed jigs and did really well with them. I also had a bunch of other people do well with them too.

Here are a few pics.

Thunder Jig - Bluegillicious

Beast Tamer Spinnerbait (I designed and built this specifically for catching big bass after dark.)

Another bladed jig - Money Shad

And my signature buzzbait - The Thunder Buzz

Jimmy RodandReel:
Good looking baits.  Can the Buzz bait come with a clacker blade?
And I would really like to see the Thunder jig in a 1/2-3/4oz model?

Peterk715:
Very nice Curt!!!   I'm ordering some supplies at the end of this week to start moulding and making jigs and plastics.  Cant wait for the ice to melt off and get on the open water!!!!

Curt:
Thanks Pete. I'm actually in the process of selling that company, so I will only be making them for myself for the foreseeable future, but I do enjoy catching fish on my own baits.

I'm guessing by your location that you guys probably have lots of ice right about now. We do too, and I don't expect it will melt until March sometime, judging by the weather we're having  :-\

Jig Man:
Nice looking baits Curt.  I make most of the baits that I use: jigs, plastics, spinnerbaits, spoons, etc.
