P Line
« on: August 21, 2015, 10:32:47 AM »
Hey guys, I picked up some P Line the other day and I've never used it before. Looks like it's a copolymer. The package says it's fluorocarbon coated. I was wondering if any one has experience with this line. Does it sink ? I'm trying to determine if it would be good for a topwater bait like a spook or not.

Floroclear in mist green used to be my all around line back in the days.  I used it for everything including top water.
Not sure if what you have is Fluroclear, CX, or CXX as they all are fluro coated.

I've heard a lot of good things about P Line, but have never used it myself.

Jack, I think it is CX but not sure. I'll take a look next time I'm out in the garage. Just wasn't sure if it floated or sank and whether it had a lot of stretch in it or not.
