Powell TriMax Baitcaster

Why would Powell discontinue there TriMax rod? They just came out with this baitcaster rod last year and now they don't make it anymore.
Would it be the quality or the cost or something else? I own one and think it's a great rod so I'm just surprised by that.

Curt:
Hmm.. my guess would be either poor sales numbers or cost of manufacturing. But then again, they might have reasons other than that. Maybe contact them and find out why.

Also, if you do contact them, let them know that you'd like to buy another rod or two if they have any leftover inventory ;)

I'll do that Curt. I can't buy anymore rods anyway as my wife Rosemary would freak out and I don't need that.
