For those who live in the northern half of the country, where we get a full-blown Winter, with snow and ice, remember to bring your electronics inside during the coldest months!

Leaving them out day after day in sub-freezing temps isn't a good idea  (nope)

While I consider that a given.... I never leave my electronics on the boat when sitting on the trailer, period - whether July or February.

Same here in the heat of Alabama. Both my Birds are on Ram mounts and I always bring them in when Im done fishing. Even when trailering they are in the truck. I think the heat killed my old lowrance units a few years ago. These things cost to much to leave in the weather.

My boat is garaged, but I still bring them in during the Winter months  :nod:
