Great Video for Wire Tying Skirts!
« on: January 21, 2016, 11:13:23 AM »
I found this video that gives a super demonstration on how to wire tie skirts on jigs. This method can also be used for spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, etc. Probably the best video I've seen on this yet.

I've been making specialty jigs with wire tied skirts for years, but this method is by far the easiest I've seen. I hope this helps someone  (yes)

@fishon-son The skirt collars are the weakest link in a skirt. No matter what kind of collar you use, they will eventually dry out and break, or stretch to the point where the skirt will just fall off.

And I like the fact that with the method in the video, a single o-ring is used and then slid off to be re-used  (yes) Definitely how I'll be doing my skirts on spinnerbaits and buzzbaits now
