4/7/16 Triple D Ranch

Well yesterday wasn't so great but we still had a really good time.   Cold front had shut them down a bit and the wind was howling making it hard to control the boat, and feel the bite.    We actually had to pull the boats out and fish from the bank for the last two hours.


My son in law and myself in my boat caught 32, most being in the 2-3 lb range.  Biggest was only 3lbs 10 oz.
My son and Dad caught about 30 with their biggest being 4 something.


I had a monster on but it was when I was fishing from the bank, and it got off as I was about to pull it in.  Anyway we had a lot of fun, a few pics are attached.

I know you were after bigger fish but from where I went to school we would still say you had a good day.
We had winds so high the other day that I got worried about my boat….and it was in the driveway!

I feel your pain! We got pounded with high winds here yesterday too! And, yes, I was crazy enough to go out in it too!
