Transducer

Boat needs a new transducer. Running the Lowrance 1250 indash unit which is the older 192 khz. Can't find those transducers. Will the 200 khz  units work?

Hmm... I don't have an answer for that question, but your best bet might be to call Lowrance and ask them directly. Better to get that kind of info straight from the horse's mouth, unless someone here has actually experienced this one firsthand.

might not be the worst time to upgrade, that IIRC is a fairly older unit and maybe the $$ for a transducer better put toward newer technology??

Nope 192 will not run a 200 kHz.  You will have to jack it up and run a new unit under it.
If you're too busy to go fishing you're too busy!!
