Did Some Pre-Fishing Yesterday

I wanted to do some scouting for an upcoming tourney yesterday afternoon.

Based on the recent weather and the overall conditions here in RI, I had a hunch about an area on the lake I was headed to. My main goal was to verify that the fish were there, not to catch a bunch of them.

Literally took me less than 5 minutes to verify that hunch when I boated a bass over 3 lbs. and then caught this one about 30-40 minutes later in that same area.



After hooking and landing this one, I immediately left and moved to another area of the lake 

Based on what the weather guessers are saying for the weekend, conditions for tourney day are supposed to be very close to what they were yesterday. If so, it could turn out to be an interesting tourney for me and my buddy. We'll see
