Anyone else fish Senkos with braid? If so, what's your opinion on it?

I tried using braid for stick baits, but I don't like it. I also don't throw them on spinning rods, I use bait casters - I learned from a super guide in Mexico - using about 15# fluorocarbon with 3/0 EWG (using the O-ring) I found that I had much better feel for the bait, we'd fish sloping rocky banks and being able to tick the rocks was the key. If it got hung up, there is enough stretch to pop them loose, using a technique I'd never seen - popping the butt of the rod sharply while loosely holding the rod int he other hand, braid wouldn't rubber-band enough to pop them loose, and mono wouldn't give the feel needed. We don't have the weeds you describe, so braid is not as important for that bait here.

I actually fish my stick worms on casting setups most of the time. The only exception is if I have to scale down to a 4 inch worm. The one rod I have setup specifically for stick worms is a casting rod that I would consider a medium and I run 15 fluoro coated Hi Seas line that works very well.
