Indian Lake - South Kingstown
« on: July 31, 2016, 12:47:01 PM »
Fished at Indian lake last night, from 7:45 PM until about 1:15 AM.

Found the water extremely, extremely low. It was actually so shallow, I had to wade into the lake to get the boat out of the launch area. I seriously thought I was going to have to put it on the trailer and go somewhere else. But we did make it work with some effort!

The fishing was decent. We boated somewhere around a dozen bass between the two of us and lost at least that many more. They were jumping like crazy and we each had one break us off too, taking our spinnerbaits with them  :crying:

We had a couple of light showers while we were out there, but nothing drastic. We put on our rain gear for a while, but were able to shed the jackets about 45 minutes and fish the rest of the night without them.

Best baits were 1/2 oz. spinnerbaits and a few various topwater baits.

Water Temp: 83
Air Temp: 70
Skies: Cloudy
Depth: 1-3 FOW

Overall a good night of fishing, once we got the boat past the super shallow launch!
