Had a Guide Trip Today
« on: June 18, 2017, 07:07:23 PM »
I took a father and daughter out for a Father's Day guide trip.

We fished from 6 AM till Noon. The weather was iffy leading up to the trip, so I had no idea what to expect, except I did know that we would be fishing under cloudy conditions. I just didn't know if it would rain on us or not. They were even talking about possible thunder storms, but thankfully they never materialized.

The fishing was really good today. We landed somewhere around 20 bass for the day, with two really nice ones and a few others that were pretty good too.

Here's a pic of Jordan with the big bass of the day. This big post-spawn female had a huge head and mouth, but small belly. It was a heck of a fish for her to land on spinning gear and 10 lb. line.  (yes)
