Jig Man:
The axle came in and was put on yesterday.  I picked the boat up just before closing and have it back in the garage.  The service writer told me that they couldn't determine what the exact cause was but it had gotten so hot that some of the brake components had actually melted and both axle dust caps had come off. 

The big wait was how long it takes Tracker Marine to get the part to the service center.

I have it about half loaded and plan to fish loading today and getting back on the water tomorrow.

Nightmare:

Good for you!!  (woohoo) (woohoo)

Now go get it wet again and swing some big fish over the side  :nod:

Jig Man:
Pulled it to the lake for a short trip today.  Everything seems to be working just fine except the fish must be on vacation.
