Billings Lake - North Stonington
« on: July 04, 2017, 10:17:30 AM »
Fished at Billings Lake on Sunday night.

9 PM - 2 AM
Air Temp: 75 - 70
Water Temp: 80 - 78
Skies: Mostly clear
Wind: 3-5 MPH
Depth: 2 - 8 FOW

Fished from dusk until 2 AM and found fish in several different spots on a few different lures.

Caught my first fish just before dark on a Salty B-Bug and then it was spinnerbait action the rest of the night. I also lost a decent bass on a big topwater lure.

Landed 7 and lost 2. Both of the lost fish were big, but of the 7 I landed, only two were small. The others were all nice keeper bass up to a tad over 3 lbs.

Good night overall.  (yes)
