Daiwa Tatula SV TW
« on: December 06, 2017, 10:41:30 AM »
After purchasing and loving my Daiwa CT Type R so much, I decided to pick up a SV TW.
Was able to get it for $115 new on eBay from one of the sporting good stores in the next city over.  Thought that was a really good deal.

Anyone using one?   Will let you know what I think once I get it and use it some.

I haven't used any Daiwa reels at all.

What are the specs on that reel?

I used to not be a fan of Daiwas at all (Well really the mid to lower end that I could afford, the higher end Alphas and Pixys were awesome that my friend had).
I think Daiwa is getting it right now across the board.

Here is a link to this particular reel  http://www.daiwa.com/us/contents/reels/tatula_sv_tw/index.html

I really like the T wing system seems to help casting.  And just the general smoothness of these reels and how they feel in my hand.

These reels are great for the experienced user and also for the beginner for baitcasting because they are much more hard to backlash.    These are the only ones I will let my high school trail guys use and not worry about having to strip the line off.

I've got a few Alphas, I love them, there's a reason they are pricey!
