MK Directional Indicator

I have a Minn Kota Maxxum.

The older version of this trolling motor, which is what I have, has a red directional indicator on the top of the control box, that lights up when the power button is depressed on the foot pedal.

I've noticed in photos of the newer model that it no longer has the red directional indicator, but a yellow one instead.

Does the yellow one light up like the older ones do?

IIRC it does, but only when the button is pushed.

OK. Cool. That's what the old one does too.

BTW, what is IIRC? If I recall??
