Trolling motor tray

(1/1)

Rhino81:
Trolling motor tray made by C.A.S.T. design installed on a skeeter zx300.  They were the best price as far as I could find for a trolling motor tray with all the hardware to install it.

I couldn’t find many pictures or videos of older skeeters with the tray installed.  So here are a few pictures of it installed.

If your on the fence about getting one it fairly simple install.  Took maybe 45mins to an hour to install and that was taking my time.  Tho I was on the fence bout cutting that hole in the deck waited a few weeks after I got it to finally get the courage up to install it.

Don’t forget to cover up as much of your skin as possible fiberglass is not very friendly when it gets into your skin.

Great job!!

I know what you mean about cutting that hole. It's pretty intimidating for sure.

But it's well worth doing it. I could never go back to not having that tray now that I've used it  (nope)

Rhino81:
Yeah I for sure procrastinated about it tho once I was committed.  I took my time and it wasn’t bad except for being dumb.  I Didn’t cover up enough skin for the fiberglass I itched for a week after.

since I did it I absolutely love it, my lower back truly appreciates it too.

Ditto. The difference is amazing.

Looks sharp. Definitely helps. I went from a motorguide to an ultrex.....now I am standing on one foot again. Pedal is a couple of inches taller.
