It wouldn’t work for my setup.

Hope you get her sold.  I had one in my Nitro. I did not like it so I took it off and sold it.

I'm assuming this has to be mounted in the deck, which requires cutting holes?

Nope.  It goes over the front of the recessed tray for the tmotor foot control.  I put a bridge on mine to hold the second unit up front so I did not need it.

Ah, OK. I don't know if that would work for me either. I'd have to check to see if I have enough extra space in front of my TM tray.

Jig man is right it mounts to the deck hovering above the tray. 

I was trying to use it on a non nitro boat and for me when mocking it up I couldn’t get it the way I wanted it

I was using 1” spaces if the tray didn’t have the angled drop in front the clearance would’ve been better and it might have worked. 

So I’m going a different route to get a cup/tool holder
