Well I fished it today.  I got some bites but no hookups.  I fished it around timber and in rocks.  It wasn't bad to hang up.  There wasn't any line twist.  I think that there may be a place for this but just not sure on a real slow day.

Glad the first trial went OK for you. You had a few bites, so that's a positive sign. Slow days are always tough for testing new stuff. Unless the testing turns a slow day into a great day!  :nod:

Well I tried it again yesterday.  I got no bites but still no line twist and it came free when hung up even in heavy rocks and ledges.

a drop shot will drop the bait to the bottom if not held just right  this rig by nature of the wire keeps it off the bottom.  I finally found some 12 inch wire with the eye already twisted in

It's interesting to find that you've had no trouble with line twist. I would have thought that it would be a major problem without the swivel, etc.

Now if only you could catch some fish on it!
