Trying a New Piscifun Torrent Rod
« on: January 18, 2019, 03:54:54 PM »
Amazon had a great deal on the Piscifun Torrent Baitcasting rods last week, so I took the plunge an bought one for only $44!

https://amzn.to/2VZ7N3v

I have read and seen some incredible reviews on this rod so far, and with it being discounted for a short time, I bought it to see if it lives up to the great reviews.

It arrived here a few days ago, and my initial impression is very good. It came shipped in a hard tube, with foam around it to keep it from banging around inside the tube during shipping.

Now all I need is for Spring to arrive, so the water will thaw out  :crying:

I'll be writing a review on this rod once I've had an opportunity to use it for a while.

I will be curious to see how it performs.  Maybe you will be as happy as I am so far with the KastKing Perigree II

Mercury 175 Pro XS
