Good info!
For folks with access to iTunes there is an app called Knot Wars that can be downloaded. It has 40 knots with clips like this walking you through tying. It also has info on when to use each knot.

Good info. I pretty much just use the palomar knot.

I basically use the Improved Clinch Knot 99% of the time!
