I have my 12 mounted on the side of the console like that. Your mount looks like a better set up.

Calvin I couldn't believe how tough that Balzout is, and when you crank the knobs don't it doesn't flex at all. Can't wait to tear across Lake Erie and have a steady graph!

It's SOLID! I do use a very thin piece of rubber under mine. That's just my personal preference to do so.
