I think it's comical on the occasions when my buddy and I decide to take my Crawdad out to a small lake. Trying to decide want to take can turn into a really big deal!

If we're going out at night, which is usually the case with that boat, it definitely helps narrow the selection down a bit though.

When I'm actually "chunkinNwindin" I'll likely have 4-6 out, strapped down on the deck ready to go. Including those, I'm likely to have 10-12 including what's down in the rod locker. I've been known to carry more but honestly, if you are going thru 5-6 rigs in a day you likely are doing more looking and casting than catching so it's probably not that productive of a day. I can do 95% of my fishing with only 3-4 rods but DON'T tell my wife that!  (nope)

It depends on the situation. In the winter I will have a jerkbait, a couple of different jigs and a shakey head.

In the summer I might start with a topwater and a crankbait and end up with 14 on the deck before the day is over.
