Title: Aftermarket Boat Trailers?
Post by: Curt on June 02, 2016, 10:30:40 AM
Anyone have recommendations for good aftermarket trailers for bass boats?

I'm not in need of one yet, but I'd like to see what's out there and get any feedback I can about some of the various options available.

I took a look at the Hustler trailers website. They look decent, using a channel frame instead of the typical box frame. I seriously think the box frame should disappear and everyone should use the channel frame design.

Any feedback is welcome and appreciated!  (yes)

what ever you do, consider a tandem axle for safety - blow a tire w/ a single and you might be in big doo-doo, especially on a narrow no-exit road w/ no shoulders, that deep doo-doo may be the ditch!

yes, channel is better from an integrity, my favorite although pricey ( I have one under my big inshore boat) is Magic-tilt, you can't get much better than them. quality all aluminum and stainless, will literally last a lifetime

Thanks @frugalangler

I have thought about looking into aluminum trailers too, but I figured they would be pricey. I'll definitely keep looking into various brands

Buy a brand new boat and it will come with a brand new trailer. Problem solved with a cherry on top. (giggle)
