Title: Strike King Space Monkey

Anyone use it with any luck?  I thought about getting some to swim through the grass.

Haven't used that one in particular, (https://www.bassboatboards.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg.tacklewarehouse.com%2Fwatermark%2Frs.php%3Fpath%3DSKRSM-BB-1.jpg%26amp%3Bnw%3D302&hash=39620c96c6e1ca1293b91c09f6d993cf31b980e4)but generally any frog like bait will work great swimming above submergence grass, I've use Horny Toads for years, my experience with other Rage Tail baits is they need to be swimming a little faster than I like to get the tail action, they go past those open pockets too fast for the bass to react, the paddle foot (boot foot) type seem to be a little slower swimmers - I have submergence grass that has pockets less than a foot in diameter and you need to 'hover' over them longer to allow the bass to react.

These might swim thru sparse grass ok, let us know if you pop for some.

I was thinking more in place of the swim jig which I fish a lot of.

Our grass here is not the hydrilla type grasses that you fish a frog or weightless swimbait or craw over the holes and such like at Lake Guntersville.
It's more of the taller vertical grass thats spaced apart enough to swim a bait underwater through the grass. ( I think its called water willow)

Might well work there, as you can swim them a little faster in that stuff
