I have my 12 mounted on the side of the console like that.  Your mount looks like a better set up.   (y)

He went with the ram, but I would guess a ballzout is in his future.

Calvin I couldn't believe how tough that Balzout is, and when you crank the knobs don't it doesn't flex at all.  Can't wait to tear across Lake Erie and have a steady graph!   (yes)

It's SOLID! I do use a very thin piece of rubber under mine. That's just my personal preference to do so.

I did that!  And I used big flat washers on the inside of the console too.

I''m happy with the install we did Jimmy.  Old Kaizan habits always have me looking for ways to improve.   Never forget those ways came from an American first!  :)
