had our 4th tx this past weekend
I pre-fished it 2 days cause I like the lake, had great days Thurs and Fri - great deep bite on Ned Rig for smallies and a few large, but those days were overcast and even a slight mist on Fri - well, overnight that dissipated and Sat and Sun were the clearest blue sky days we have had in weeks, warmest weather too, and coupled with the corp pulling water to drop the level back to normal levels (it's been 2-3 feet high for a few weeks) the fish scattered, hardly any big fish - and only 1 limit in 2 days, 2 day winner took it w/ 7 fish for 2 days
Oh well, I had two very enjoyable days and I'm just in it for the fun, and great time w/ all the buds and Buds (friends and drinks)

Wow.. bummer about the bite disappearing on you :crying:
As you said, though, being on the water is the best part anyway, so catching fish is only part of it. :nod:
One thing about living here in RI, we have almost no reservoirs, and the ones we do have are very small, so sudden water level changes are pretty much nonexistent.
