Title: looking for a prop
Post by: haveme1 on February 10, 2015, 11:05:35 AM
I didn't see a "props" board so I'm posting here.
Unfortunately I'm in need of a Tempest plus 23p.
New its 460.oo  :'l

I just sent mine to marks performance ..... it was half price to get it fixed.
I should have it back in a couple of weeks.

I have a 23 pitch Tempest Plus which I believe is the wrong prop for my Pro XS 175. I think I need a 25 pitch. If I can find me one, maybe we can work something out. Its in great condition.

I looked for a month for the same propr, but all the ones I found used were beat up.  I ended up buying a new one from a boat dealer in Michigan who had one on a shelf.  Good luck in your search!

@Jason West that is definitely the wrong prop for a 175.  My OPTI 150 runs best on the Tempest Plus 23p...I spent all last summer trying different props to figure that out.  You need a 24 min and I think a 25 will be OK too.  Watch those RPMs and water pressure!   (y)
