Title: Me thinks summer may be over

Hit the water with a great forecast.  Temps going from 45 to around 80.  We hit the water at 8 with a light wind.  Spinnerbaits were again a bust but plastics were the big hitter.  We caught 15 blacks on everything from shaky to tubes to Ned Rigs.

We worked our way about 10 miles up river and got into a bit of wind so we decided to try for some eating fish.  We caught 3 shallow walleye with 2 of them keepers and 43 white bass.  We kept 30 of the whites and headed back to the truck about 3 pm.

I'll take 60 fish any day of the week and call it a good day on the water.

Sounds like a good day overall!

Summer is definitely long since gone here in RI, but Fall hasn't been treating us too badly. Still seeing lots of daytime highs in the mid 50s and even into the 60s. Not too shabby for the third week of November  (nope)

Still remains to be seen whether I'll get to fish on Christmas day again this year or not. We will see!
