check the transom closely they crack at the corners Take a rubber mallet with u and tap the transome and listen for hollow sounds astro had a history of bad transoms I trashed 2 so far in 3 years that i took as part pmt Its against the law here in NY to sell knowingly a boat with a defective transom so I ended up squashing the hulls and scrappin em

Thanks

What I think I have heard which may not be 100% correct so take it with a grain of salt, is Astro and Procraft were sister boat companies made in same plant in TN, later bought out by Tracker Marine and just went away in favor of the Nitro brand. I think that one may be pre Tracker.
I always have considered them cheaper built boats, but that is just from observations. I have only ridden in a couple. So just like bullet stated, check it very well.

The Transome is in good shape (https://www.bassboatboards.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fuploads.tapatalk-cdn.com%2F20160810%2F088e10f9d58879d7570bf304a564c882.jpg&hash=fb82b176bea8f3f8f79d0aeffcfc5a98da102727)

nice boat...wrap that pull cord around the head stock of your trolling motor before you tow...save that handle from cracking...been there ......
-
That new carpet looks great. Did you do the job or have it done?

I was thinking the same thing. Only I was more concerned with it whacking the hull and marking up the glass.
Not sure about MG trolling motors, but with MK motors, the hard rubber section at the top of the wire and cable harness (where it enters the TM head) has grooves in it that work perfectly for wedging the rope into while running to keep it from flying around. I'll post a pic in a different post.

Here you go. Pics from two different angles.
