I hit the same "local lake" today that I fished earlier in the week.
Today was the polar opposite of earlier int he week when I fished it, with regard to the weather.
Previously, it was warm and beautiful out, with no need for a jacket.
Today was bright, sunny, cold and windy, with the need for layers of clothing to keep from catching a chill. The wind was blowing a steady 5-10, with gusts up to 20 MPH. It was cold (yes)
I landed my first bass within the first 15 minutes and then landed 3 more before we had been on the water for an hour.
Ultimately, I caught 7 good bass between 1 3/4 and 2 3/4 lbs. WIth an 8th bass that was 10 inches or so.
I caught 5 of them on a Salty B-Bug and 3 on a spinnerbait.
Felt good to make up for the slow day earlier in the week

Congrats on the good day. Your days are probably numbered, aren't they?

Thanks! And yes, they are numbered. Not sure how many more times I'll be getting out there before we're done for the winter. At least a few more, hopefully!
