For the past 20+ years I have used either a Berkley or Normark/Rapala handheld digital scale to weigh my fish for tournaments and guide trips. Most of them have worked OK, but I'm considering buying a new one.
I was doing some homework and found this one that's reasonably priced and has excellent reviews.
Accu Cull Digital Scale (http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Accu_Cull_Digital_Scale/descpage-ACCUSCALE.html?from=nebass)
Has anyone else used this? If so, what is your opinion of it?
Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I have not used those, but have been happy with this Rapala one, where you can save the weights..

I also add a grip like MLF uses to make it easier to weigh (replaced the clamp that came with it, it was so hard to open)....

Thanks Jack!
Have you found any problems with the scale being inaccurate with fish under 2 lbs.? One reviewer on Amazon said he saw discrepancies of up to 6 ounces on smaller fish, but it was accurate on bigger fish.
And for that replacement grip, did you attach it permanently to the scale somehow?
And I definitely like the ability to store the weights right in the scale for a running total. Much easier to cull fish that way.

I don't catch fish under 2lbs (giggle)
No, I have not compared it to our official tournament scales to see how close they are, but most of the time I am just using them for weighing bigger fish when fun fishing.
I have used it a few times to decide on which fish to cull though when I couldn't find my balance beam and didnt store the weighs. So hopefully it has been accurate, seems to be.
I think its going to be hard to find any handheld that is right on the money, especially with light weights.
Yes I attached it using the split ring that you see on the scale holding the other clip. I put another split ring through the hole in the grip and attached them together.
I have a tournament tomorrow and I will try to remember to take a picture of it holding a fish, assuming I catch one.

OK. Thanks Jack!
