Title: Last Call for Night Fishing
Post by: Curt on September 03, 2015, 02:15:48 PM
With the extended summer temps here in southern New England and the new moon approaching soon, this will be like a last hurrah for night fishing fanatics here in this area!

I hope to be able to take advantage of it during the coming week or two  (yes)

My personal best here in RI, a 9 lb. 2 oz. slob, was caught in early September back in 1989, when we had a warm spell after having a very cold, wet summer.

These next two weeks will definitely be interesting  ;)

Night fishing is still alive and well here in Bama, Curt. I haven't been at night myself but i saw 9 or 10 boats at 10:00 last night when i came back across the Tierce-Patton bridge on Lake Tuskaloosa headed home.

Go get'em, Curt!  (y)

@Buzzbait I'm sure guys in Alabama get to night fish for many months out of the year.

Here in RI and CT we get June, July and August, and sometimes part of September. This year is a bit of an exception so far, with summer daytime temps running into September pretty strongly so far. Today is 85 and this week is supposed to be in the mid-to-high 80s all week!

I'll take it because it pushes the start of winter back a bit  (y)
