Title: New Navionics SonarCharts available for Popular Canadian Lakes
Post by: JDFishing on April 01, 2015, 10:31:57 AM
After working the Northwest Sport Show for both Navionics and Lowrance this past week, I was taken back a bit by all the interest in the new SonarChart maps that recently released from Navionics. I'm sure this doesn't apply to everyone but where I'm from, there's tons of Canadian trips taken by millions of anglers a year. Sometimes it's hard to see outside my bass fishing world I live in but for those other 98% of northern anglers check these out! All one foot contours.

It kinda rubs me the wrong way that the User surveys the lake for Navionics, uploads the data to them and then has to pay to get it back with other community edits.  They have their customers doing all the work and they all selling the fruits of their customers' labor.

Maybe it's just me.  With Humminbird you make 'em and keep 'em.  End of story.
