Title: Cleaning my Carpet
Post by: Curt on October 09, 2015, 04:35:01 PM
I bought a bottle of Mighty Tuff from BBB sponsor @Basscat1

In light of the fact that I didn't fish in the rain this season, my carpet has accumulated a few stains from fish blood and a few other misc. items.

I need to get these spots out, so the Mighty Tuff will be put to the test very soon. I'll be posting before and after pics for everyone to see when I get it done  (yes)

If it gets fish blood out of the carpet then it is some good stuff.  Ammonia is all that has ever worked for me on dried blood.

To get fish blood out I have used Peroxide and a Q-tip as its starts to bubble up use a tooth brush to scrub it up and reapply if necessary. I have not used ammonia though.

How did it turn out? I washed mine the other day with vinegar.  Worked pretty good but a few stubborn places left (smelly jelly)

Hoping to get to it this week. As soon as I do, I'll post the pics of before and after!
