Title: Finally
Post by: Jig Man on September 13, 2016, 09:32:45 PM
The bass did what they are supposed to do.  They fed up with the front coming in tonight and the weather changing for the next several days.

My son in law and I pulled an afternoon trip to my favorite little pond (Stockton Lake).  It is about 26,000 acres located in the western central part of the state just 40 miles from where I live.

We hit the water around ll:30 am and fished until 6 pm.  We caught large mouth, small mouth, spots and one walleye.  We only had 4 keepers but we managed 36 bass on swing jigs, tubes, spinner baits and buzz baits.  That is how they are supposed to bite with big weather coming in.  I just wish my back would have allowed me to stay on the water longer but you can't have everything.

Gotta love it when the bass read the books and follow the rules  (giggle)

Glad you had a good day and got to rip some lips  <((><
