Very interesting technique and very popular in the Ozark Reservoirs like Table Rock and other surrounding lakes. Great way to catch fish.

Supposedly a near 7# smallie was caught on Stockton last weekend on the Ned. We have been doing versions of it for a long time and didn't call it anything. That is kind of like drop shot. We did it for years but called it double rigging. We used a jig instead of a sinker on the bottom with a wacky worm above it.
I'm looking forward to giving the "ned rig" a shot with a swing jig this year.

Hope Stockton is hot in a couple of weeks, as we have a small club tournament there. Guess this is something else I am going to have to buy and try....I have tried everything else with little to no success.

The guys up in the Kansas City area rant and rave about this "ned" rig Never tried but maybe I should! They claim its a smallmouth catching machine.
