Well, it looks like there will be no more Uncle Josh pork frogs  :crying:

I haven't used as many of them recently as I used to, but I hate to see them disappear.

Went to Yamamoto twin tail grub quite a few years ago from pork. Pork was fine as long as you were just throwing a jig but would dry up if you didn't keep it wet. Use the strike king menace grub  now which is closer in action to the uncle Josh #11. I should stock up on some pigs. I know a few guys who will drop some serious money for them when they are not available anymore.

I actually used to use the big Jumbo Frog on most of my jigs. It is a pain in the butt, having to keep it went, but I always liked the bulk and added buoyancy of that big old pork frog trailer.

Wow @JackJ !! You've never used pork frogs??

That's all I used for many, many years. Not so much these days, but I still like them as jig trailers!

Nope sure haven't.    I have always use plastic trailers like swimming chunks and plastic crawfish with flappy arms just for the action.
I have seen them in the store and they look like they have dust on them, so I dont think many are using them around here anymore :)

I have seen the same thing. They're not anywhere near as popular as they used to be, since soft plastics have become so popular. And especially since the soft plastic manufacturers began creating plastics specifically for use as jig trailers.
