Had a Great Guide Trip Last Night!

What a blast!

I took a guy and his 12 year old nephew out last night, from 5 PM until 11 PM.

After about 45 minutes of seeing where the fish were and what they wanted, it was on!

The boy crushed them for the next 5 hours, including a nice fish well over 4 lbs. Gave him a heck of a fight on spinning gear with 8 lb. line 

Seeing the huge smiles on people's faces makes guiding worth all of the time and effort that goes into it

Teach a kid to fish, earn a friend for life!!!!!!!!!

The uncle sent me a text this morning telling me that they hadn't even gotten home last night and the boy was already asking if they could do it again

That's great! I love seeing kids get into the outdoors. You and that one fish probably just changed the course of that child's life. It's amazing what one little great moment in time will do.

I wish I had that kid's hat and he had my hair.......
