I fished a small local lake last night, from about 7:30 until around 1 AM.
I caught so many bass I lost count. It was somewhere between 15 and 20 total, along with losing a few.
Caught them before dark on a Salty B-Bug and then after dark on a 1/2 oz, spinnerbait and my big Australian topwater bait.
The best bait of the night was the topwater. They were crushing it!
About 10 PM or after the fog rolled in and it got so think it was tough to see the shore from 30 0yards away
At one point, I wanted to move down the lake a short distance and had to use my GPS to make sure I stayed off the shore line and stayed headed in the right direction. I only moved a quarter mile at about 5 MPH, but it was so thick it made it really difficult and I was pretty tense. My neck and shoulders were tight for the rest of the night after that
It was worth staying out there, though, with so many fish caught.
By the way, none of them were huge, but all of them were solid keepers with the exception of one rat.
