Glad there was no major damage from your mishap!
Good idea, too, to check the trailer over thoroughly at the beginning of the season.
One thing I'd like to add is that checking your trailer thoroughly is much, much easier when the boat has been removed. So if you live fairly close to a boat ramp, take the boat there, float it off and either tie it to the dock or beach it securely.
Then, pull the trailer out of the water and give it a thorough inspection. This is the best way to check the trailer frame for rot, especially those cross members that are always hidden by the boat
